Trolls WIP 1

The other day I decided to open the box of a Mordor / Isengard Troll, which I had bought some years ago! A friend of mine had some unused parts from his own Troll and offered them to me. So, I had a new task: to build as many Trolls of one box as I could! The previous time, back in 2011, I built three Trolls from one box, now I aim for four!

The previous three Trolls

I plan to build two Mordor Trolls and two Isengard Trolls. I divided in four all the parts of the box sprues and my friend unused parts accordingly.

I used foam trays to create the three troll bodies, which I needed.

The foam trays

I used paperclips to connect the hands with the torsos.

The other three bodies

I divided the plastic troll´s body into three parts, so that each troll has an original piece.

That´s it for today! Now, it is time for Milliput, putty and green-stuff. Stay tuned for more!

Ninja

This is my free Ninja, a gift from Warlord Games! I will use him as a "Hasharii Hasharin" of the Fallen Realms for the Lord of the Rings games.

While I was in Brussels, I tried to visit the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History. Unfortunately, the meeting I attended finished too late to allow me a visit! Next time maybe I will have a chance!

Since I had plenty of time I enjoyed my dinner in a typical Irish pub nearby!

SAGA Jomsvikings Warlord and Brussels

My two Jomsvikings Hearthguargs units have a warlord. I chose the very nice miniature of Gunnar Hamundarson to be the brave warlord of my Jomsvikings warband. Now, I have to paint the rest two units of warriors to complete the warband.

The ferocious Jomsvikings

and their Warlord.

Last week I visited Brussels. I walked around the center and took a photo of Games Workshop shop. Unfortunately, I wasn't there during their working hours. Or, I can say fortunately for my wallet!

Nearby, there is another shop with Belgian products for tourists, which has a very nice collection of soldiers of Napoleon era.

And in front of the building of Commission of the European Union there is another collection of lovely figures of European Citizens!

That's it for today! Stay tuned for more!

SAGA Jomsvikings Hearthguard second Unit

The second Hearthguards unit of my Jomsviking warband is ready! This time I used four miniatures of the Gripping Beasts Dark Age Warriors box. I added beards and long hair to the miniatures and I gave a piece of fur to the standard bearer. Enjoy!

That's it for today! Stay tuned for more!
